No Guarantee of Outcome

IP Litigant Desk provides administrative, procedural, and organisational litigation support only.

We do not provide legal advice, do not represent clients, and do not control or influence court decisions.

Accordingly:

  • We do not guarantee any outcome, result, or decision

  • No service can guarantee success in litigation

  • This is equally true of solicitors, barristers, or any other legal professionals

Court outcomes depend on many factors outside the control of any support service.

 

Use of Fees

All fees paid to IP Litigant Desk are used to cover:

  • time spent reviewing documents

  • analysis and preparation work

  • drafting and administrative support

  • allocation of resources and availability

Work typically begins immediately upon instruction.

 

No Refunds

Because services involve the provision of time-based and bespoke work, fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

This applies to:

  • Case Analysis & Strategy Support

  • Drafting & Court-Ready Documents

  • Barrister Coordination & Trial Support

  • Structural Risk & Asset Mapping

No refunds will be issued based on:

  • dissatisfaction with outcomes

  • court decisions or orders

  • changes in personal circumstances

  • decisions not to proceed with a case

 

Ongoing Case Support (Weekly / Fixed-Term)

Where a client has selected Ongoing Case Support, which typically runs for a fixed period of up to 8 weeks:

  • the service may be stopped by the client at any time by giving written notice

  • stopping the service prevents future charges only

  • fees already paid are not refundable, whether or not the full period is used

This reflects the fact that availability, scheduling, and preparatory work are committed in advance.

 

Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Where a service has not yet commenced, and cancellation is permitted by law, we will comply with applicable legal requirements.

 

Summary

  • No litigation outcome is guaranteed — by us or by any law firm

  • Fees pay for work done, not results

  • Refunds are not available once work has started

  • Ongoing support can be stopped, but payments already made are not refunded
